Rajasthan is a vibrant state dotted with numerous architectural wonders and many religious sites. After Pushkar one must visit Ranakpur which is a picturesque village located in the Pali district of Rajasthan. It is famous for its marvellous temples and is also a pilgrim spot. Ranakpur is situated on the western side of the Aravalli Range between Jodhpur and Udaipur. The Chaumukha temple (four-faced temple) here at Ranakpur is dedicated to Adinath, who was the first Jain Tirthankar (Jain Spiritual head). The other tourist attraction other than these Jain temples include the Amba temple and the Sun Temple. To the north-east of Ranakpur at a distance of 30 kms is located the historical site of Kumbhalgarh.
